Yaron (Karol) Becker, philosopher, historian, lecturer, journalist, simultaneous interpreter, social activist, advocate of intercultural dialogue, activist for the Israeli-Palestinian reconciliation, former associate of the Polish Institute in Tel Aviv.

I think that there is, I’d say, a phenomenon here which both sides should grasp somehow.

I call it the pluralism of sensibilities.

We need to understand and learn to talk about some very sensitive issues in a way that does not immediately provoke hostile emotions. We need to learn to exchange opinions, exchange opinions on the past, on history, showing patience and trying to understand the other side and even put ourselves in their shoes.
