Educational workshops

At the start of September, 2015 during the implementation of the "Wooden Treasure" project there were organised educational workshops, intended for representatives of governments and cultural institutions, as well as the youth. Among the people attending were residents of the small towns represented in the project (Dubienka, Wojsławice, Szczebrzeszyn, Krasnobród, Tyszowce). The aim of the workshops was the promotion of traditional architecture, as well as education with regards to its preservation and revalorisation. The workshops were comprised of a theoretical segment - lectures and presentations - followed by field events, such as a visit to the Lublin Open Air Village Museum, 3D scanning presentation of a chosen wooden structure, practical workshops with woodworkers from Poland and Norway.

The workshops for government representatives were expanded to include a lecture on the preservation of wooden architecture in the context of external funding acquisition.
